Unable to accept Harper’s claims that there was nothing more than a kiss between her and Cam, Ethan bullrushes the ocean where his long-time friend-turned-enemy is taking a casual swim on the last day of the trip. Without this, it’s hard to glean what was intended in the climactic act.Įthan (Will Sharpe) confronts Harper (Aubrey Plaza) with more accusations of cheating on him, with Cameron (Theo James) being the supposed second partner in the affair. ![]() This forces viewers to have a keen understanding of subtext and an ability to read it completely. While audiences were desperately waiting to see how the week-long vacation to Sicily would forever alter the lives of these spoiled, out-of-touch brats, the answers were already given in the premiere episode of the season.
